The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie has entered its second week.

Two weeks ago, Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC Star Savannah Guthrie, went missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona.

Just a couple of days after her disappearance, an anonymous message was sent to the family of Nancy Guthrie, demanding $6 million worth of Bitcoin in exchange for Nancy.

Now, a new report from TMZ confirms that a transaction has occurred in the ransom wallet.

TMZ provided the latest details on the Bitcoin wallet:

We’ve seen activity for the first time in the Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom note which was sent to us here at TMZ, and also to 2 TV stations in Tucson. For various reasons, we are not going to reveal the amount, but the activity happened in the last 25 minutes.

Over the weekend, Savannah and her family responded to a ransom message, saying they will pay the $6 million demand to have their mother returned to them. The alleged note requested payment by last Thursday … but it also listed a second deadline of today at 5 PM local Tucson time.
