Court Reaches Decision On Do Kwon Extradition
• November 24, 2023 12:23 pm • CommentsDo Kwon, the founder of Terra, was arrested earlier this year for allegedly using a fake passport in order to flee from Montenegro to Dubai. Coin Telegraph provided the background details:
Previously, a court in Montenegro sentenced Kwon to four months in jail after finding him guilty of using a forged passport to try to flee to Dubai via private jet.
In June 2023, Kwon was reportedly charged with attempting to leave the country using a fake Costa Rican passport.
Following the incident, Kwon was sentenced to 4 months in jail by the legal system in Montenegro.
Now, a judge has signed off on an extradition order to send Do Kwon back to the United States or South Korea.
The order is not yet finalized and will require a signature from Montenegro’s Minister of Justice to take effect.
Multiple sources have now confirmed that the court in Podgorica, Montenegro has issued the green light for Do Kwon’s extradition.
Montenegro's High Court upheld the four-month prison sentence of Kwon and his associate Han Chang-Joon for document forgery, rejecting their appeal.
Kwon faces extradition to South Korea or the United States after he serves his sentence in Montenegro.

Somehow he paid the price. Now, when he is cleared, he will be a complete victim. In our opinion, something is going on here.
Are we absolutely sure? of course no. These are just thinking out loud. We will follow the process and see.
