Matt Damon made headlines when he appeared in a Crypto.Com advertisement, and now the platform has moved to make a landmark deal with FIFA.
According to the latest reports, FIFA has agreed to a sponsorship deal with Crypto.Com—the platform will be an official sponsor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The deal was made for an undisclosed sum, but 3.5 billion people tuned into the world cup last year—that’s nearly half the planet. With a reach like that the advertising space is almost a great buy at any price.

Crypto.com will gain a brand presence inside and outside stadiums during the soccer tournament. The exchange will also give users the chance to attend matches and win merchandise.
Crypto.com will be the event’s exclusive crypto trading platform sponsor. Other sponsors include Budweiser, McDonald’s, the tech company Hisense, and the smartphone company Vivo.
