Elon Musk Shares Satoshi Nakamoto’s Possible Identity
• October 6, 2023 9:02 pm • CommentsCEO of Tesla Elon Musk is a man who is alway busy, whether it’s working at Tesla, Space X, Neuralink and now X, the man is a total workhorse.
On top of all that Musk has been a star guest on hundreds of podcast and tv interviews.
Last year in an interview that didn’t get too much buzz Musk joined Lex Fridman’s podcast and talked on topics such as Mars, Space X, crypto, the Soviet Union and much much more.
During one section of the podcast, Fridman asked Musk if he was Satoshi Nakamato, to which Musk repied “No”.
Fridman then dug in a little deeper and asked ‘would you said no to my previous question if you were Satoshi Nakamato’ to which Musk replied ‘No, I’m not Nakamato’.
Besides denying that he isn’t Nakamato, Musk went on to say that he obviously doesn’t know who Nakamato is but then gave a guess and said cryptocurrency expert Nick Szabo created the “evolution of ideas” of bitcoin before it ever launched.

Per Futurism:
SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk thinks he knows who created Bitcoin — and it’s definitely not him.
The billionaire meme thief took part in an interview with artificial intelligence researcher Lex Fridman on the latter’s podcast published on Tuesday. While the chat flowed from SpaceX launches, to colonizing Mars, to even love, Fridman eventually asked Musk about his theory on who is Bitcoin’s elusive creator Satoshi Nakamoto.
“Well, you can look at the evolution of ideas before the launch of bitcoin and see who wrote about those ideas,” Musk told Fridman. He went on to add, “It seems as though Nick Szabo is probably, more than anyone else, responsible for the evolution of those ideas.”

Musk has been rumored of being Satoshi for years.
Per Bein Crypto:
Elon Musk is Satoshi Nakamoto, Satoshi Nakamoto is Elon Musk. While you may scoff at this at first, wait until you read the case made for this idea by a former SpaceX intern.
Sahil Gupta is taking the position that Elon is Satoshi. And hot damn, it has always been a fascinating theory. Gupta is convinced that the creator of Bitcoin is likely to be the PayPal co-founder.
While this theory isn’t new, Gupta makes a fascinating comparison of the similarities between Nakamoto and Musk that makes this theory come alive again.
Musk, in previous years, has been compelled to deny that he is the Bitcoin creator in a tweet… although it was a weak denial.
Gupta told BeInCrypto, “A few years ago, I wondered whether Musk might be capable of writing the source code of Bitcoin. I then realized he actually is. Musk wrote the software for his first companies, Zip2 and X.com, which literally specialized in peer-to-peer payments. X.com’s source code was written in C++ and described as ‘monolithic’. So was Bitcoin’s.”
Gupta then parsed Satoshi’s forum posts. “Satoshi’s use of ‘bloody hard’ and ‘order of magnitude’ were hallmark Musk expressions. Satoshi wrote with double spaces after a period. So did Musk. Later, an article had emerged that Satoshi once leaked an IP address in Van Nuys, Los Angeles in 2009. Oddly enough, SpaceX is adjacent to Van Nuys, and Musk frequents Van Nuys Airport.”
