Nascar Driver Brandon Brown who inadvertently started the “Let’s Go Brandon” phrase just received a big sponsor.

Brandon Brown just received a sponsor from the cryptocurrency Let’s Go Brandon ($LGB) and now Brown’s No 68 Chevrolet Camaro will be colored red, white and blue with LGBcoin.io painted on the side.

Brown will drive the “Let’s Go Brandon” No 68 Chevy Camaro for the entire 2022 Xfinity Series season for a total of 33 races.

As some of you already know the anti-Biden chant “Let’s Go Brandon” chant originated after Brandon Brown won his first career Nascar race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Fans started chanting “F%CK JOE BIDEN” but NBC sports reporter Kelli Stavast heard the chants and then incorrectly told Brown that the crowd was chanting “Let’s go Brandon”.

Here’s an official press release from Brandonbilt Motors:

Brandonbilt Motorsports (BMS) announced today that cryptocurrency meme coin LGBcoin.io (LGBcoin / $LGB) has signed on as the team’s full season primary partner for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) season.

The partnership marks the latest crypto outfit to back a NASCAR driver and team, a growing trend not only in motorsports but across all professional sports leagues. In 2022, BMS driver Brandon Brown will sport an eye-catching red, white, and blue livery with the logo and wordmark of LGBcoin aboard his No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro for all 33 races of the NXS season.

LGBcoin is a new, decentralized meme cryptocurrency similar to other meme coins and tokens such as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, that has achieved a market capitalization of more than $300 million in less than six months. The patriotic coin dubbed “America’s Coin” aims to inspire positivity and unity, grounded in a strong belief of the American dream.

Newsmax got the scoop too:

NASCAR driver Brandon Brown has decided to embrace the slogan ”let’s go, Brandon,” announcing a full-season sponsorship deal with LGBcoin, a cryptocurrency inspired by the slogan, according to Mediaite.

Brown, 28, previously told The New York Times earlier this month that he was uncomfortable with the phrase and had ”zero desire to be involved in politics.”

In November, NASCAR President Steve Phelps called the slogan an ”unfortunate situation” and added that ”we don’t want to associate ourselves with politics.”

Brown’s team, however, asserted that the organization has approved the LGBcoin sponsorship.

”I’m excited to welcome @LGBcoin_io aboard my No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro as our 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series full-season primary partner!” Brown posted to Twitter on Thursday.

Since the sponsorship deal $LGB has seen as 50% spike whereas another anti-Biden crypto called $FJB saw a 20% drop.
