A crucial court date in the Ripple V SEC lawsuit is coming up on March 26—mark your calendars.

This is the day the SEC’s remedies will be unsealed and available to the public for viewing. The rogue agency has no doubt asked for some impossible concessions on the part of Ripple Labs.

Still, it should be interesting to see what the SEC is demanding from the crypto firm and how Ripple will respond.

The unsealing of the remedy documents will also give us further insight into the SEC’s strategy going forward.

Attorney James K. Filan announced last week:  “The SEC has filed, under seal, its opening remedies-related brief and supporting documents. These documents are not public yet. Public, redacted versions will be filed no later than Tuesday, March 26, 2024.”

Coin Paprika reminded readers:

Ripple has been ordered by the court to reveal its financial details and sales agreements, which the SEC argues are critical for determining the case’s remedy phase.

A detailed timeline for the lawsuit’s next phases has been established, starting with the SEC filing its remedies brief, followed by discussions on document redactions, and various filing deadlines for both parties.

Fatih Yaka noted: “March 22 is a key date in the SEC vs. Ripple case. Defense attorney James K. Filan notes upcoming deadlines. XRP trading volume up, but price down 5.6%.”

Bitcoinist added:

The provided timeline offers clarity on the immediate procedural steps. Despite this clarity, there remains a level of uncertainty regarding the ultimate resolution of the case. Speculation about potential delays persists, particularly concerning whether the SEC may request an extension.

At press time, XRP traded at $0.63218.
