NEW Bitcoin ETF Listed On DTCC Website!

Rumors are once again swirling that a Bitcoin ETF will soon become a reality, fueled by the recent listing of a new Bitcoin ETF.

Invesco Galaxy’s spot Bitcoin ETF has been listed on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) website.

The DTCC previously listed BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, took the listing off, and then re-listed the hedge fund’s proposed Bitcoin ETF to the site.

It should be noted that the listing does not guarantee that a Bitcoin ETF will be approved soon or even at all.

However, the DTCC does not list securities or investment trusts arbitrarily. If something is listed on the DTCC’s website there is a reasonable expectation that it will eventually come to market. Here’s what everyone is saying:

Bitcoin LFG hyped up the recent listing: “Get ready, because several Bitcoin spot ETFs are on the horizon sooner than you might expect!”

According to Coin Telegraph:

The ETF has been added to the list sometime in the last six days, with the web archiver Wayback Machine showing no listing under the ticker BTCO was present on Oct. 25.

Crypto Cobrex provided this price analysis for Bitcoin:

“Bitcoin is still ranging in this tight range for over a week and continues to consolidate in it, building volatility squeeze on multiple timeframes, suggesting a big move is coming.

Another spot Bitcoin ETF ticket has been added to DTCC website. Invesco and Galaxy’s BTCO.

Now there are two tickets on the website already, which suggests Bitcoin Spot ETFs are around the corner.

Looks like the stock market finally started bouncing off of a support which is another positive sign for continuous upwards move on Bitcoin.

Keep an eye on FED’s decision on interest rates today which will probably bring some volatility to the markets. Most of the market participants are expecting no raise and I have to agree with them.”

Investing.Com explained:

Securities like BTCO are often added to the National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) security eligibility file in anticipation of a potential market launch.

However, the DTCC clarified that such an addition does not imply an endorsement of the product or guarantee future approval.
