Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, has expanded its stablecoin services to Telegram Open Network (TON).
The blockchain firm will be bringing USDT and XAUT (Tether Gold) to the TON blockchain for easy use directly within the Telegram app.
This seamless integration will come as a welcome surprise to users of both blockchain networks and services.
Tether proudly announced on Friday: “Tether Tokens USD₮ and XAU₮ are now live on the Ton blockchain & available in the Telegram Wallet.”

TON is a blockchain network that was initially developed by Telegram, but has since been taken over by open-source developers. It is integrated with the Telegram app.
CoinGecko provided a price update for Toncoin (TON) following the announcement that Tether would deploy on the Telegram Open Network.
