President Trump released Bitcoin-themed sneakers just days after speaking at the 2024 Bitcoin Conference in Nashville.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “I just spoke at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday.”

Trump added, “Get your Bitcoin Sneakers now. These are Limited Edition; they are each numbered.

The 45th President also noted that the sneakers can be bought with “Bitcoin” or “your favorite Crypto.”

Per The Block:

Former U.S. President Donald Trump took to social media on Wednesday to promote limited edition Bitcoin-themed sneakers shortly after the Republican candidate in this year’s presidential election spoke at Bitcoin 2024.

“Just spoke at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “Get your Bitcoin Sneakers now. These are Limited Edition, they are each numbered, and you can now pay with Bitcoin or your favorite Crypto.”

Last Saturday, in a keynote address at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, Trump promised to fire SEC chair Gary Gensler and stop the U.S. from selling its bitcoin holdings, creating a “strategic bitcoin reserve,” if elected in November.

Besides accepting political donations made in crypto, including bitcoin, Trump has also been associated with the sale of NFT collections celebrating his likeness.

Per AMB Crypto:

Additionally, Trump also made headlines, this time by launching Bitcoin-themed sneakers as part of his 2024 presidential campaign.

His company, CIC Ventures LLC, introduced a limited edition of “Crypto President” high-tops, with 1,000 pairs in “Bitcoin orange” priced at $500 each and 4,000 pairs in “luxurious black” available for $299 each.

These sneakers prominently feature the Bitcoin symbol, celebrating Trump’s vision for the future of finance. This bold initiative follows his recent pledge at the Bitcoin conference in Nashville to establish a national Bitcoin reserve if elected.
