Twitter Adds XRP Price Index Feature

Twitter under Elon Musk has been super friendly to cryptocurrency.

Twitter will now add 30 other cryptocurrencies to its price index feature that Twitter Blue account users now have access to.

After creating a new price index feature for both Bitcoin and Ethereum for Twitter Blue Account users, Twitter has added more cryptocurrencies to its index which now includes XRP.

Besides XRP, Twitter added Solana, Polygon, Shiba Inu, and many more.

Twitter has quietly expanded its new crypto feature that enables users to search the price of individual tokens, adding at least another 30 tokens.

The new additions are part of the social media giant’s “$Cashtags” feature, announced by the Twitter Business account on Dec. 21. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) were the first to be part of the new feature.

Tweeting or searching for a crypto token or ticker symbol with a dollar sign ($) in front now links to pricing graphs for those symbols.

Cointelegraph found 30 of the top 50 tokens by market capitalization, including ‘Tether and XRP’.

Social media platform Twitter has enhanced its crypto feature which permits users to search the price of individual tokens. It is believed that the step will lead to the addition of another 30 tokens, as reported by Cointelegraph.

According to Cointelegraph, the new features belong to the company’s “$Cashtags” feature, which was revealed by the Twitter Business account on December 21, 2022. Reportedly, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) became the first to be associated with the new feature. Sources have unveiled that 30 of the top 50 tokens in terms of market capitalisation were added, including Tether, XRP, Binance USD (BUSD), Cardano, Solana, Polygon (MATIC), Litecoin, Dai, Avalanche, Uniswap, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.
