Ben Armstrong, popularly known as BitBoy, has been locked in a battle with his former business partner over the last several weeks.

ProCoin News recently reported that the crypto influencer issued a desperate plea to his fans asking for donations because he allegedly lost everything—including his prized Lamborghini.

Sources say Armstrong was forced out of his role as BitBoy by the parent company that owns the brand.

In a press release, BitBoy’s parent company claimed that the severance was due to Armstrong’s substance abuse issues and a ‘toxic’ work environment.

Following these initial reports, BitBoy attempted to confront his former business partner at his Georgia residence.

Armstrong went to NFT investor and consultant Carlos Diaz’s house and live-streamed the 37-minute incident in front of the home that led to his arrest.

Coin Telegraph confirmed:

According to a listing on the Gwinnett County, Georgia, Sheriff’s Office, a Benjamin Charles Armstrong was booked on Sept. 25 at 9:11 pm local time and remains incarcerated.

WhaleWire claimed: “Ben Armstrong, also known as #BitBoy, has officially been locked away in jail, as confirmed by the local Sheriff’s Office in Georgia.

BitBoy live-streamed an incident in which he attempted to steal a Lamborghini from an ex-business partner, with his mistress (whom he cheated on his wife with), all while being armed with a gun and under the influence of narcotics.

Law enforcement authorities have also discovered illegal narcotics in his vehicle.”

Members of the crypto community are also sharing this video of Armstrong, reportedly taken by Diaz from a different perspective.

Coin Edition added:

Additionally, BEN tokens, introduced by Armstrong earlier this year, experienced a 30% decline in value as news of the arrest began to circulate on Tuesday. As per data from CoinMarketCap, the token is currently trading at $0.0000000166.
