During a recent fundraising event in San Fransisco, President Trump declared he would be the “crypto president.”
Trump made his comment during a recent fundraising event hosted by investor David Sacks and tech billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya.
During the fundraising event, which cost attendees $300,000 a seat, Trump told the crowd, which consisted mostly of venture capitalists and tech gurus, that as president, he would be committed to supporting the advancement of cryptocurrency.
Trump also warned the crowd that the Biden administration supports regulation on cryptocurrency.
