BitBoy: 2023 Is “The Year Gary Gensler Is Forced To Resign”
• January 2, 2023 7:30 pm • CommentsBen Armstrong, aka BitBoy, is making major predictions for 2023…
The popular crypto influencer believes that 2023 will be the year that Ripple finally comes out on top in its ongoing and embittered lawsuit with the SEC.
BitBoy goes on to make another prediction—Gary Gensler will resign in 2023:
2023: The year the $XRP case ends and the Ripple curse is broken.
Also the year @GaryGensler is forced to resign from the @SECGov

Previously, BitBoy pointed out a Twitter poll in which participants were asked if Gary Gensler should step down in the wake of the FTX scandal; the overwhelming majority of participants indicated that he should.
This was far from the first time that BitBoy took aim at Gensler—the popular crypto influencer is one of the SEC Chairman’s harshest critics:

ZY Crypto writes:
The case pitting Ripple against the American top financial cop is now nearing conclusion, and many crypto onlookers believe the blockchain firm stands a good chance of winning the lawsuit.
YouTuber Ben Armstrong, whose videos produced under the moniker BitBoy Crypto have 1.45 million subscribers, has suggested that 2023 will be the year the XRP lawsuit concludes “and the Ripple curse is broken”.
XRP is NOT a Security.
Gary Gensler has NO Job Security.
Coincidence? https://t.co/M5wR8DfFem

Attorney John Deaton had an alternative take, according to U Today:
John Deaton, sees a slightly different picture. He believes the issue will be decided by a judge, without the pretrial settlement that many in the XRP community are hoping for.
Such an outcome makes the chances of crypto winning the case more uncertain. Gensler, according to Deaton, is not going to make any concessions at all in the case and admit that XRP is not a security.
