Bitcoin receiving three streams of institutional capital

Bitcoin ETF Demand Roars Back With More Than $1 Billion in Three Days

Wall Street’s appetite for Bitcoin just snapped back in a big way.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds pulled in roughly $1.08 billion across three consecutive trading sessions, according to a Cointelegraph summary of SoSoValue and Farside Investors data. The streak included about $526.6 million on Monday, $23 million on Tuesday and another $528 million on Wednesday.

That is a meaningful reversal after a rough stretch for institutional flows. Wednesday’s haul pushed October back into positive territory at approximately $461 million in net inflows, while year-to-date net inflows reached about $1.34 billion.

BlackRock and Fidelity did most of the heavy lifting

The latest session was not built on a scattered collection of small buys. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led the day with $235 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund added roughly $213 million.

Together, those two funds accounted for most of Wednesday’s net demand.

Farside’s fund-by-fund breakdown also shows something investors should not overlook: the day was broadly positive. Bitwise, ARK 21Shares, Franklin Templeton and Grayscale products all contributed, while the largest funds supplied the scale.

The price still has to prove it can hold the move

Bitcoin briefly traded above $84,700 during the same window before giving back part of the advance. That disconnect matters.

ETF demand can improve the market’s underlying bid, but it does not guarantee that every short-term rally will survive profit-taking or a broader risk-off move.

The more important signal is persistence. One strong day can be driven by portfolio rebalancing or a single institution.

Three straight sessions, led by the two biggest U.S. spot products and totaling more than $1 billion, are harder to dismiss as noise.

For Bitcoin bulls, the cleanest case is that large allocators stepped back in before price established a durable breakout. For skeptics, the retreat from $84,700 is a reminder that fresh ETF demand is meeting active sellers.

Both can be true at once.

What comes next

The next test is whether the funds can keep drawing capital if Bitcoin remains volatile. Continued inflows would suggest that institutions are using weakness to build exposure rather than waiting for a perfect technical setup.

If the streak fades immediately, this three-day burst may look more like opportunistic buying than a lasting shift. But after October’s early outflows, getting the month back above water is a clear change in toneโ€”and the $1.08 billion total gives the rebound real weight.
