BNB Chain Captures $16.2 Billion in Tokenized-Stock DEX Volume—and 1.8 Million Holders
• October 2, 2026 7:19 am • CommentsTokenized stocks are no longer a side experiment tucked behind the broader real-world asset market. On BNB Chain, they are starting to look like a full distribution business.
A new Binance Research analysis says BNB Chain held roughly $1 billion in tokenized stocks by mid-September, equal to about 34% of the market. It was the only chain to cross the $1 billion mark, up from roughly 5% of the market at the beginning of 2026.
The user count is even more striking. Binance Research counted 1.8 million tokenized-stock holders on BNB Chain, or 45% of the sector total.
Robinhood Chain had roughly 1.5 million holders, while Solana had about 600,000.
Tokenzied stock spot volume hits $16.2B over the last year on BNB Chain alone, more than any other chain.

That holder lead matters because market capitalization can be concentrated in a few large wallets. A broad holder base is stronger evidence that tokenized equity exposure is reaching actual users.
Token Terminal’s rolling data adds the trading side of the picture. It measured $16.2 billion in tokenized-stock spot DEX volume on BNB Chain over the prior year, ahead of Solana at $11.6 billion and Robinhood Chain at $11.4 billion.
Robinhood led during September itself, so BNB Chain’s one-year lead is meaningful but not untouchable.

The larger market is expanding at the same time. Binance Research said tokenized stocks crossed $3 billion in market capitalization during the fourth week of September, up from about $700 million at the start of the year.
On-chain transfers topped $100 billion in the third quarter, compared with $6 billion in the first quarter.
The growth is not coming from one product alone. BNB Chain hosts bStocks, Ondo Global Markets products and xStocks, giving users multiple ways to reach tokenized equities.
A separate BNB Chain market overview counted more than 709 tokenized stocks and ETFs across the ecosystem and more than $5 billion in cumulative volume by late June.
That breadth gives traders exposure to far more than a handful of technology names. It also gives issuers and trading venues a larger base from which to compete on liquidity, access and settlement around the clock.
That variety creates a new problem too: tokens tied to the same company can have different structures, collateral arrangements, liquidity and rights. Investors still need to understand what each token tracks, who holds the underlying asset and whether redemption is available.
For BNB Chain, the near-term advantage is simpler. It already has a large crypto-native user base, low transaction costs and active DeFi venues.
Tokenized stocks can move from a wallet into a liquidity pool or lending market without leaving the chain.
The next contest will not be won merely by listing the most shares. It will be won by the chain that can keep liquidity deep, explain the legal wrapper clearly and turn a first trade into repeat use.
BNB Chain has the early lead in that race—and the numbers are now large enough that the rest of the market has to answer it.
