David Schwartz Confirms He “Optimized” Bitcoin Code In 2011

This story just keeps getting better and better…

David Schwartz (@JoelKatz) he claimed he is 100% “not Satoshi” and yet circumstances keep getting weirder!

Back in December, wrote an article asking if Joel Katz was Satoshi Nakamoto.

Then the impossible happened: Schwartz himself replied to our story!

Take a look:

Oh David, what a tease!

Then he really amped it up next when a reader asked him if would admit to being Satoshi if he really was, to which he answered with this beauty:

So it’s clear he’s having a a lot of fun teasing about this story..

What’s not clear is whether he is, in fact Satoshi, or as he even suggests maybe he was part of the group?

Today we get another piece to the puzzle as he is placed one step closer to the Bitcoin Genesis Block.

From @TAIG:

And from Tiffany Hayden on Github:

Schwartz responded again, admitting he “did some work optimizing the code” for Bitcoin in 2011:

What type of a genius do you have to be to “optimize” the Bitcoin code back in 2011?

The legend continues.

Perhaps even more mysterious than @JoelKatz is the never-before-seen Arthur Britto.

Britto has been said to be equally a genius and adding to his mystery is the fact no one seems to know who he is.

Were Schwartz and Britto two of the key players who created Bitcoin as “Satoshi”?

It’s looking more and more likely with each passing day.

Imagine if you created not only XRP but also Bitcoin.

An incredible legacy.

A living legend.
