David Schwartz: “I’ve Been Asked To Resign”

If Elon is good at trolling on Twitter, David Schwartz (@JoelKatz) seems to be trying to dethrone him as king.

Because he just Tweeted this out:

In case you somehow don’t know, Schwartz is widely considered to be a genius and is the co-creator of the XRP ledger.

He is also rumored to have been involved with the creation of Bitcoin.

He admits to “optimizing the Bitcoin code” in 2011, but denies he was one of the founders of a group that called itself “Satoshi Nakamoto.”

In any event, the point is the man is a certified genius and he seems to be one of those people who is so smart and has so much energy that serving as CTO of Ripple Labs doesn’t totally satisfy him…

He is constantly spending excess energy posting about Wordle or now tweaking the ENTIRE XRP Army by posting: “Breaking News: I have been asked to resign…”

Before you have a heart attack, he followed that up with this Tweet:

In case you don’t get it, the joke is based on a play on words and how they are spelled with resign (as in, quit) having the same meaning and spelling as resign (as in, to sign something again).
