Elon Musk And Amazon To Team Up?• December 9, 2023 12:13 pm • Comments
Elon Musk is reportedly in talks with Amazon to strike an advertising deal with the online retail giant.
The billionaire told several multi-national corporate giants to go pound sand after they attempted to extort him and his social media platform, X, by pulling their advertising from the website.
Among the most notable companies Elon Musk aimed at was Disney and its CEO Bob Iger. Musk told Iger “to go f*ck himself” during an interview at a conference.
Indeed, entities such as the ADL, Disney, and Google have been some of the most ardent opponents of freedom of speech in America and uncensored platforms like Elon Musk’s X, which is currently the only centralized free speech social media platform in the world.
Here’s what is currently being reported about the potential advertising deal between X social and Amazon:
NEWS: X has reportedly discussed a potential partnership with Amazon that would make X ads available through Amazon’s ad-buying software, according to the WSJ.
This deal, if reached, could draw in millions of small and midsize businesses. https://t.co/aTndzntrX8

If successful, the partnership with Amazon could enable small businesses to leverage X’s platform, directly connecting them with Amazon’s extensive user base.
This opportunity particularly appeals to businesses dealing in office supplies to home goods. However, it is important to note that these discussions are still early and may not necessarily lead to a final agreement.
Unusual Whales reports on another collaboration between the two industrial giants: “Amazon, AMZN, has signed an agreement with rival SpaceX for three launches of Elon Musk’s Falcon 9 rocket, in order to loft Amazon’s future internet-from-space Project Kuiper satellites into orbit.”

This is not a drill: Amazon bought SpaceX launches.
Amazon's satellite internet network Project Kuiper aims to compete with Elon Musk's Starlink – and will fly on the latter's rockets to do so.

The New York Post provided some background information on the corporate advertising giants and their protest against Musk:
Several companies including Comcast and Walt Disney paused their advertisements on the social media site after Musk last month agreed with a post on X that falsely claimed Jewish people were stoking hatred against white people.
