Things have been getting steadily worse for Binance—the world’s biggest centralized cryptocurrency exchange.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao recently announced he would be stepping down from his position as CEO of the company.

Additionally, Binance is on the hook for $4 billion from the American Securities and Exchange Commission.

We are now seeing widespread issues reported by Binance users claiming that they are experiencing card withdrawal issues.

In some cases, users have been allegedly experiencing issues for 10 days or more, and the reports have been extremely widespread:

Protos reports:

The problem appears to have started on November 17, just three days after the sealed indictment against Binance and its former CEO, CZ, were filed.

These indictments were released earlier this week when both pled guilty and agreed to pay $4.4 billion in fines.

Luan Miranda lodged this complaint on Wednesday:

“Today it’s been 10 days since I’ve been able to withdraw money to my card, binance is a fraudulent team, I’m very frustrated because I trusted them, my rent is late and I’ve run out of money for my food. This is on purpose so the withdrawals don’t collapse.”

CoinDesk explained that Binance experienced similar issues in October:

Crypto withdrawals on Binance are back online after a temporary outage that was due to a “technical issue,” according to a post on the exchange’s X account.
