Strive has added another 1,223 Bitcoin to its corporate treasury, pushing its reported holdings to 36,818 BTC and putting fresh weight behind one of the biggest public-company accumulation strategies in the market.

According to Cointelegraph, the company spent roughly $100.6 million on the latest purchase. The Bitcoin was acquired between October 14 and October 16 at an average price of $81,734 per coin.

That was only the second leg of Strive’s buying week. An earlier purchase added 2,822 BTC, bringing the combined weekly haul to 4,045 Bitcoin for about $335 million.

Strive reported total holdings of 36,818 BTC as of October 16, alongside cash and shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock.

The company also priced a seven-million-share SATS preferred offering expected to raise about $630 million before expenses, adding another potential source of capital for its treasury plan. Together, the purchases, reported holdings and preferred-share financing describe a coordinated balance-sheet strategy built to keep accumulating Bitcoin.

The scale matters. Bitcoin is already the largest crypto asset by market value, and public-company treasury buyers tend to remove coins from the liquid market for long holding periods.

A four-thousand-coin week represents a meaningful new block of institutional demand.

The purchases also show that Strive’s accumulation is being executed as a continuing program rather than a single headline transaction.

Strive is building around more than spot Bitcoin.

Strive reported that its treasury also includes cash and shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock. That gives the company more than one way to maintain Bitcoin-linked exposure while managing liquidity and future purchases.

That financing can expand the pool available for the broader treasury strategy without relying only on operating cash.

This is the playbook pulling traditional capital-market tools into Bitcoin. Companies are no longer limited to making occasional spot purchases.

Preferred shares, convertible instruments and other securities can all become part of a standing accumulation system.

A bigger test comes after the buying.

The headline number is impressive, but treasury strategies are ultimately judged across market cycles. A large Bitcoin position can amplify gains when the asset rises and sharpen balance-sheet pressure when it falls.

The financing structure, cost of capital and discipline behind future purchases will matter as much as the coin count.

For now, Strive has made its direction unmistakable. It is using public-market financing to build one of the larger corporate Bitcoin positions, and it just accelerated that strategy with another major week of buying.
